Assesstech has a depth of experience within both the rail and IT domains. We specialise in helping Railway undertakings reduce their incidents. This is completed through targeted TNA (training needs analysis) and then subsequent training. We champion a 'just culture' and the assessed candidate taking ownership of their own development. TNA (training need analysis)

We have helped a number of railway undertakings with this service. We take an indepth look at your Managers outputs in regards assessments and incident investigations. This envolves visiting your workplace sampling and gathering evidence and measuring it against your exsiting standards. We also conduct interviews with your managers in regards of the standards and their work. We then produce a report detailing our finding sand make recommendations for improvement.

IT consultancy

Do you need a specialist programme developed, we have experience working on our software as well as solutions for Vodaphone, Orange, 02 and connection services to name but a  few

Competence management

We have aided many railway undertakings with their competence management, inculding updating old compliance based systems.

Incident investigation profiling

For Railway undertakings who want to move from lagging indicators to leading indicators. By profiling personnel that have been previously involved in incidents we can produce a percentage chance (on a monthly basis) of re-occurrence of a similar incident. This is an invaluable tool for managers to approach their staff and tackle their development head on. A member of staff, who is made more risk aware, is less likely to have an incident and measures can be put in place on an individual basis to prevent incidents.

What is involved?

We will need access to incident data, which we can then analyse to produce a report with all applicable members of staff detailing their probability of having an incident within a specified time period.

Training

This is essential to ensure that the data is handled in a sensible way by the Driver Mangers, and can be distributed through the monthly meetings. Assestech will supply information to aid this process
